Shuttleworth Business Systems is delighted to announce that their subsidiary company CDM Solutions, has acquired Abraqsys Business Systems based in Northampton.
Abraqsys is a successful software development company with a particular expertise within the sheet feeding sector of the corrugated industry. This amicable acquisition provides a superb strategic fit with CDM Solutions business which already has an established client base in the corrugated market, both within integrated plants and the sheet plant sector.
CDM Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shuttleworth Business Systems based in Kettering, Northants, one of the world’s leading suppliers of Management Information Systems to the packaging industry.
Paul Deane, Joint Managing Director of Shuttleworth commented “we are delighted with CDM’s latest acquisition and are keen to further invest in its future. The acquirement of Abraqsys is a significant step in CDM’s development as it will further establish their presence in the packaging sector.”

Targeted at the carton sector, the system is designed to maximise opportunities with customers and prospects alike. It also ensures the Production Planning System has real time feedback from the shop floor giving essential control for the modern packaging environment.
Visitors will also be able to see the new 'Supply Chain Management' software. It's a web-based tool designed to enable manufacturers to quickly get prices from their suppliers so they can respond immediately to their customer needs. Hosted by Shuttleworth, it requires no infrastructure investment to take full advantage of the functionality. It's all delivered over the web.
